Computer Engineering undergraduate

I build software so indigenous languages can live on phones and the web.

I work as a developer on dictionaries, language apps and language technology for the Dura community and its neighbours.

About

I am studying computer engineering and spend most of my time on one question: how can technology help small language communities keep their language in everyday use?

My work so far includes an offline Dura-Nepali-English dictionary, a web app for Dura language resources, a shared dictionary for the Kirati cluster of languages, and a Nepali spelling corrector built on fine-tuned transformer models.
